I'm a Service Designer currently working with Oranga Tamariki.


Being able to make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders is what motivates and drives me. I'm passionate about human-centred design; I find it challenging, rewarding and energising mahi.

Sometimes there are difficult conversations to be had, particularly in some of my more recent work at Oranga Tamariki. A big part of my role is about building relationships, advocating for community-led design, and working closely with partners to create the best possible outcome.

April 2023 - Standing alongside my project colleagues and the Minister for Children Kelvin Davis for the launch of Te Ara Mātua: a new and improved way to support whānau through early intervention to limit whānau involvement with Oranga Tamariki. Working on this iwi led project, alongside community partners and Ngāti Kahungunu is a career highlight for me. (RNZ Article)

I'm currently working with Oranga Tamariki as a Service Designer. I work in the Māori, Partnerships & Communities Group, based in Wellington.

Worked in the Design space for 6 years, first as a Business Analyst, then as a Service Designer, working on customer experience & business change projects.

Whilst working with Waka Kotahi, I consulted as a Service Designer for Environment Canterbury, on their on-demand public transport research project.
