I'm a Service Designer working in the public sector.
Being able to make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders is what motivates and drives me. I'm passionate about human-centred design; I find it challenging, rewarding, hard work and yet somehow energising all at the same time!
Sometimes there are difficult, agonising customer conversations to be had. And it isn't always about a 'positive' customer experience. I find it's more about being an advocate for the customer and working with teams to create the best possible outcome.
It's these kinds of challenges that I love about Service Design.

I'm very excited to have recently joined Oranga Tamariki - Ministry for Children as a Service Designer, working in the Tamariki Advocate group.
Worked in the Design space for 6 years, first as a Business Analyst, then as a Service Designer, working on customer experience & business change projects.

Whilst working with NZTA, I consulted as a Service Designer for Environment Canterbury, on their on-demand public transport research project.
